Repeat, didn’t quite stick the crux on the warm up, easy second go.

1st session - working on these moves individually, needed to cut a few times or better beta

Bolt to bolt to the last clip. Got some beta from Conner for 4th to 5th which works well for me with a high heel out left. All the clipping positions feel good to me except 3rd

Tried up to the 5th bolt again. Clipping 3rd still hard for me.

Found nice kneebar for second clip. Third clip still very strenuous. I think my feet are just in the wrong places. Need to get a lot more weight through them. Some nice moves on this climb. Pity about the lack of an anchor

Had a brief look at this. I need better beta or finger strength for clipping. Steep stuff is not really my thing.

Felt great to re-send Rubble on the first day back to the Cave for the season. Reckon I’ll make this one my warm up for the year.

Held the first move in crux sequence a few times but got too tired... Time to get strong and try this properly next summer

Few grades above my limit. Touched 3rd and took a fall

Managed to unsend this one today. Climbed though the crux easily both goes, only to slip off the top on wet holds.

A few grades above my usual, but did get to the 3rd bolt

Still like this route a lot, but still not sure about the grade. Regardless, it’s a worthwhile line.

Reasonably dry, surprisingly.

So stoked to have finally gotten to the cave after being in CHCH for nearly 2 months. Really enjoyed this line, especially the section from bolts 3-5. I think 27 is probably the right grade, though on the softer side of the range.

Giving the cave a look with John. Outrageous overhang. Linked up the first 3 bolts onsight. Turned on at the 3rd haha. 3rd to 4th is hard, for sure the crux. Fell a lot from here to the top. Think with a lot of projecting and strength training it could go. Bring on the winter

Conditions turned to custard, 34 degrees, soapy and I was burnt from yesterday. Disappointed to drop the last move after it felt so easy on the want up. Next trip... f**k

Can’t believe I didn’t send this today, every move felt easier than last time, route felt good to go just didn’t have the beta dialed till the end of the day. Fell twice on the last move forgetting the heel... tomorrow is the day lol

Much better than the name suggests! This was a bit too easy... and Bogus a bit too hard.

Worked the Route twice then went for the snd... fell 2cm short of the finish jug haha... Ill get it on the next trip, great route
