Still can't clip anchor due to seepage, but have all the moves to the last bolt down now! up to last bolt at least, no move is hard in isolation now I know them. Nice heel-toe cam below sidepull (from lefthand pinch going triangular righthand pinch) near last bolt. Nice kneebar on the undercling ball between 3rd and 4th. Fun crossover sequence around 2nd bolt and BIG fun crossover move from 4th to 5th bolt (I prefer this, Daniel's way to bumping out), too ♡ I have slightly different beta from Daniel going for meat wrap hold (skip the right crimp, sloper on left hand, then to meat wrap). I used nice tabling heelhook on meat wrap hold from 3rd to 4th also

Really beautiful long and fun route also! ❤🤟🏼 Stem and press through scoop, some crimpy techy stuff, blind reach over bulge, somewhat spicy but juggy finish 👌

SO close to onsight - ahhhhhhh!!! Again, long and fairly varied - easy boulder problem, slab bit, crack with flake, crimpy technical part, pumpy finish 👍🏼

Warm up- Gorgeously long and varied for a single pitch! ❤🤘🏼 Slab section, moves over bulge, fun mantle, spicy finish on jugs 🌶 loved it!

Was on this ages ago. Thought I'd sent it but didn't log it. I love arêtes though, so happy to techy my way up it again ♡ a good reminder to me to really crank on heel hooks and get that weight right over the heel, as I'm too injured to pull my scaps together properly today 😅

Happy to have onsighted this as my warm up while gritting through the pain of some pinched nerve or whatever is happening in my upper back! 😁🤟🏼

Rest day climb #1

Injured, so decided to clean off the gear. Actually did climb all the moves but grabbed draws to clip; injury doesn't help my headgame, it turns out!

Weirdly, the conditions were nice and grippy today despite the route being in full sun while I was going up (as opposed to spoogey as heck yesterday when it was cloudy! Humidity, I guess. It was raining all day in the hills today, so weird!)

Dogged up this nice route for warm up 👍🏼 7th day on for me, didn't try for a send 🙃 Would be a good one, though! I guess impending rain might force my hand on resting soon, anyway 😬

Okay, I'm officially toast, evening of my 5th day on 😂 Fell off trying to stand up after pulling over the rooflet. Awkward and tricky to read because the best holds+body position are on the right but they run into the bolts of the 15 so I assumed those are out? But going straight up is awkward and bunched, even for MY size! Probably just too knackered to read rock properly at this point 🙃

Okay, so this is my 5th day on and I expected to not really be able to do much on this today but wanted to have a go as the draws were up and Dom went for redpoint burn. I guess it suits me because I dogged up pretty readily despite having extremely little stamina today! ❤

Quite interesting to me that the two powerful 💪🏼 moves in the crux sequence (2nd to 4th bolt 🔩) were fairly trivial to me once I found the correct feet (and used a sloper bump for the first power move cuz of my size) 🔥 So power not much affected by no rest days, but endurance is in the can as I was chickenwinging 🐔 to the anchor after the crux even though it's only 22ish climbing 😂

Dogged up as a warm up, easy moves, grade just comes from pump 👍🏼 everyone saying this is harder than "Send a Gorilla" but that confuses me because I found no powerful or committing moves on Powerline. Guess I'll find out when I go for redpoint burn next week?!

(This is my 5th day on and I really wanted to have a good play on "The Beast Within" so I didn't try for a send attempt yet ♡ Nice route though, so definitely wanna come back to tick it!)
