In Busan, take the subway to Oncheonjang Station 온천장, on the orange line (Line #1). Cross the pedestrian bridge from the subway station, towards Home-plus, and take Bus 203 from the bus stop under the bridge. Get off at East Gate 동문입구 near the top of the mountain. Th e bus will take twenty minutes to get to the stop from Home-plus. Walk up and pass through the East Gate. Continue on the main trail heading north for twenty minutes until you see some rock array and boulders. Before the trail heads down to a large open area, look for any path that follows the stone wall. Buchae-bawi is just to the right of the stone wall and you will see the butterfly shaped boulder that is easily recognizable from 500m.
