Description

(Hak-bawi) - This crag is a mixture of gneiss and moraine rock with forty-eight routes. It is 50m high and 60m wide. It was developed from 1996 to 1997. The dihedral wall is divided into four parts. The far left wall, that is separated a little from the main wall, has seven routes. On the main wall, the le side has seventeen routes. e middle wall has ten routes, plus two aid climbs. e right wall has twelve routes. e crag faces southwest. (Dungji-bawi) - Developed in1998, this crag has twenty-four routes between 22m and 52m high. ere are a couple of multi-pitches that would be good for beginners and intermediates to train on. Refer to the gear and safety concerns in this book with care.

Approach

(Hak-bawi) - At Waegwan Bukbu Bus Terminal 왜관북부, take the bus bound for Dogyeo/Chumpyeong 도계/청평 and get off at Haksansamgeo-ri 학산삼거리. Follow the road that leads to Dobong-sa 도봉사 for twenty minutes. Continue past the Potjae Parking Area 팥재 주차장 and hike towards Dobong-sa 도봉사 for another ten minutes. At the temple take the trail to your right. Hike up until you reach a fork. Take the Youhakjeong 유학정 trail on your left . There will be a small trail to your right 5m after the fork. Continue on the path for five minutes to reach the crag. (Dungji-bawi) - Continue on the trail past Hak-bawi to reach Dungji-bawi.
