The Cova de L'Ocell is a climbing area in Osona, relatively close to Barcelona and important urban centers of Vallès (and Bages). It is famous for hosting a large number of very high difficulty routes and some ascents done by Chris Sharma.
You can get there from Vic-Centelles, Manresa-Moià or from Barcelona. From Barcelona you have to drive until you join the C-59 towards Caldes de Montbui and Sant Feliu de Codines. Continue driving until you reach the 25 km mark and the Can Bosch Golf Club. Take the C-1413b, direction Centelles and continue until km 9. Right at the height of the kilometer marker, on the left side of the road, a forest road starts. Drive along this road in good condition until you reach a right-hand bend, of about 90º. On its left side there is a secondary track, less wide and a slightly poorer quality road. From there you have several parking options. When you see a large stone with a red and green GR, this marks the beginning of the access path. Follow the different paths for about 5 minutes to the different sectors.
Did you know that you can create an account to record, track and share your climbing ascents? Thousands of climbers are already doing this.
