Granite blocks scattered in a lush pine forest at 1200m ASL allow for climbing all year round.

The first of the many bouldering areas developed near Candelario.

From Candelario drive to La Garganta and from there to the Navamuño reservoir which will appear on your right. On the left is La Muela mountain. Continue along this road, passing the province border until you reach a hill, located about 7km from Candelario. Take the forest road that leaves to the left of the road between two stone walls. Once on the road stay left, the blocks are on both sides of the road.

Where to stay

All sorts of accomodation is available in Candelario. No camping in the bouldering area!
