Summary

best climbing spot on Tenerife!

Description

altitude 900m

Access issues

Protected area. Requires registering and permit (www.centralreservas.tenerife.es) which is obtained by scanning a QR code on entrance.

Take care with parking! Fragile situation with autorities and residents.

Don't walk behind the pine tree at the end of sector Tralla, it is a conservation area for the protected Tagorote Falcon. At nesting season (February-June) observe the routes for nesting falcons and do not climb there!

Approach

From Los Christianos take the TF-1 to the north until the road ends and then take the TF-82 through Tejina heading to Guia de Isora. Short after the village Tejina you have to be concentrated. 500m after a tunnel and before the next one you have to turn left into a narrow road to Acojeja. Park in Acojeja: (28.196091, -16.763203)

Walk up the road, before the last building (28.197601, -16.760102) go right and follow the cairns to the wall.

Ethic inherited from Tenerife

Please keep the crags noise free and clean. Take your trash and toilet papers with you. Locals tend to bring dogs to the crag. It is good manners to use your own gear at the anchors for lowering or setting up top-ropes. Use the anchor rings/carabiners only for the final lower-off after cleaning.
