Hönö is one of Sweden's major climbing areas with several hundreds of bouldering problems in all grades. Much of the climb is vertical or on slabs, but overhangs are present, too. Much of the climbing is on water polished and rounded granite. Do not forget to swim, too.
In addition to Hönö you can also climb on Öckerö, including Rävholmen, Fotö and Hälsö.

All climbing is in the Ersdalen nature reserve so behave accordingly. No bivouac, fire or rubbish!
You can go bus to Lilla Varholmen and then the ferry to Hönö. From there it is about 30 minutes to walk. Or take the car all the way out, a relatively big parking is located at GPS 57.69847 11.62682. By car, it takes about 1 hour from Gothenburg and by bus + foot half an hour.
Did you know that you can create an account to record, track and share your climbing ascents? Thousands of climbers are already doing this.
