Description

Impressive and imposing wave-like boulder with some serious height and some classic hard routes. Great rock quality. An oak tree at the top is a perfect anchor for a top rope.

Approach

Walk into Skuruparken past the school, following the track right towards the water and with the marina on your right. After 200m turn left up a footpath between small cabins that takes you up into the Istiden valley. The huge boulder is unmissable on your right.

FA: Andreas Almqvist Gref, 30 Oct 2016

Same high-ball consequences as the harder routes, but an easier climb. Sensitive crux at the lip then nice slab to finish.

FA: Shaun Hurrell, 31 Jul

Traverse right on the slab for an exposed finish that joins with 'Pranayama'.

FA: Shaun Hurrell, Aug 2022

Rumour has it this compression problem was climbed by Alex Megos

Line to left brushed by Fredrik Andersson. The first easier half has been climbed.

Across the valley opposite the Istiden boulder. The left side has an interesting feature with a good top out.

Highball project to the right of Jawbreaker (opposite Istiden boulder) - sit start in the overhang then continue up on the gigantic slab. Plenty of slab potential here.
