Fell at my onsight because I broke a crimp. Went easy second go. Start is quite polish an powerful, crux on sharp crimps. Did the left ending with the mono (for me 2 finger) pocket. Right way seems easier. In total a quite nice Route

Pumpy overhanging start, leading into a some powerful bouldery crux. Some people go straight (which is probably harder) but I went right to a sidepull and a dynamic quite insequre dyno to a okayish hold. Still able to clip every QD easily... dunno if I cheated... even this way is quite powerful and pumpy. In the end a technical crux on pretty small and bad holds... good luck when you arrive completely pumped

What a long ride to accomplish those steep 30m! This route has a bit of everything: Relatively easy start, followed by an athletic roof section on ok‘ish holds, a super techy and fingery section on tiny crimps (main crux), some meters on good holds, another powerful crux with a reachy shoulder move on a tiny diamond, followed by again super pumpy athletic climbing through a steep overhang all the way to the top. Did the mistake to climb the main crux on those tiny crimps twice after figuring out the moves and in the end my skin and finger joints hurt so badly that I skipped the powerful move on the sharp little diamond. All moves should be possible on a fresh day - but far from linking.

Very close to OS, second go a stupid mistake and third go it went quite smoothly, super nice one !!! Felt soft compare to Chinds Chopf. Went directly and didnt clip the sling.

To be honest, I absolutely don’t like the start. The rock isn’t solid and needs to be more climbed. The rest of the route is amazing. Technical balancy traverse crux followed by some technical pretty insecure moves. Super nice one. But probably not 8a.

I'll call this a real Alzheimer onsight. This is the last route I tried without a helmet 7 years ago, I fell down low back then flipped upside down and cut my head. Never not wore a helmet ever since. Today I was back in Neiuhaus and onsighted this one while putting up the draws. Hard climb, very consistent. Awesome

Tried this one 2 years ago with no chance to do a single move, since then I was avoiding it. Two days ago I was trying the crux for like 30 minutes and today I smash it on my first go after warming up and hanging the QuickDraws. Such a great feeling seeing this progress. Didn’t clip the QuickDraw in crux dough.

What a classic line! For me the best so far at Neuhaus. Felt quite harder than Countdown (7a+) and most of the 7a's I did so far. Therefore I agree with the new guidebook, which suggests 7a+. Maybe also depending a bit on body size. Being taller could make the crux slightly easier as you skip some of the hardest moves and keep your feet on good foodholds. 2nd go today. All in all 5 tries (checking out included).
