A blend of lead climbing and bouldering features

50+ ft cliffs but also a short path up to a place perfect for bouldering

Access issues

Entrance to the quarry is a bit hard to find and there is no signs or carp ark but you'll pretty much be guaranteed a quiet climb and a undisturbed one .

Public land no entrance fee and no one knows about it at all every time I've climbed it has been ably me and my friends the entrance is hidden in a hedge down old down hill in Tockington.

Park in Tockington and take the Old Down Hill road up the hill past the tall school wall on the right. After a quarter of a mile take the gated footpath on the right then immediately follow the wooden fence on the left, pass through another gate and down some wooden steps into the quarry. Take the path and a clean area of rock will soon be visible on the right.

Where to stay

You can park down at the tockington green and walk up the hill but other than that it's impossible to get to

Start at the white "VD" painted on the wall. Slimy green start but good rock until the top - preplaced rope useful.
