Boulder field and crag located on Woodsdale Road just outside of Roxboro, NC. There are a few sport routes, but as of 3/12/2016 the bolts are sketchy at best. Mainly a boulder field. Pleanty of natural anchor spots on top for top rope. Easy walk-off from top of crag.
From 501N, take N Main street to Woodsdale rd. there is a large solar farm with a sign that says to park on the opposite side of the road (not on the property) and you can walk in. Take the gravel road through the farm to another farm down the hill. th gravl road cuts through their yard and enters the woods via 4-wheeler trail. A few hunting dogs will keep you company as you make your approach. These are awesome dogs that are very friendly and are the owner's pets. Keep bearing right down the trail and you should see the crag on the right!
This is located on private property, on a cattle/horse farm. The crag is a 5 minute walk from the farm into the woods. Landowners have a sign that says climbers may walk through the property so long as they park on the opposite side of Woodsdale road (not on property).
Did you know that you can create an account to record, track and share your climbing ascents? Thousands of climbers are already doing this.
