Summary

Newly bolted crag on the island by the asia outdoors team and others early 2019.

Description

A nice cool crag on the island for a quiter experience, receives shade most ò the day and still more potential for new routes

Access issues

Please respect the local farmers crops and use the small stone steps to cross the small stream. In the rainy season the gentle stream may flood quickly, be careful crossing the stream

Approach

From cat ba town drive 35mins on scooter north past woodstock towards cat ba eco lodge. The crag can be seen on your right hand side. Drive around the fish ponds and park on the small hill, walk across the stream using the stone steps to get to the crag

Fun start followed by some slab into pumpy finish. Take care of upper part, snake spotted on the left jug before the anchor.

Climb straight up from dirty groove anchors up some of the cleanest pock-marked limestone around into a scooped roof. Tricky reachy crux and then sustained to the anchor. It has 2 extensions, Ants Marching Left and Ants Marching Right. Climb 17 on topo
