Ascensions dans South-Western Boulders

Only one go, got to last traverse move. Time to chase some shade

Start felt hard, top move kept spooging

Pulled the top flake almost a cm away from the rock but it didn't brake somehow, be careful!

Was pretty happy to get up this. Dug deep and recalled some distant beta memory from the recesses.

Mucked around on the start of this looking for an extension. Seemingly possible. Sasha could do it.

You don't just waltz up this thing. Had a couple of goes and thought I save my arm and leg skin. Still love it.

Benji found an additional little hold which made the last move more achievable (and at least a grade easier).

I still think this thing is high quality, despite the snickers coming from those other two.....

This thing is really good. Got very close on my last attempt but chipped-off a wee bit off the key footer. There's still plenty on it though

A nice alternate finish with a very different style from the start.

If you love whole body bouldering then you'll love this one. A burly finish to boot.

This is actually good, you just have to be very selective on your top-out holds.

A gum tree growing out of granite, crystally jugs, laybacks, over-sized quartz crystals chicken head crimps and a rounded flaring off-width crack, what is not to love about this one?!

Iso delivers again! This thing is very spanned. Benji had the beta worked out first but got his feet tied up. Cool moves for a short problem.

Looked at this with Skippy for many a year. Benji and I thought we'd have a play on it today and then it went! Super stoked

A short punchy number. Use the direct mantle as opposed to the exit R to squeeze out some extra climbing. The hidden crimper-pocket is a delight!

This thing! Sharp in places, quite sequency and consistent.

Tried this a few times under headlamp but had no real idea what was going on....

Been looking at this boulder for a very long time and today it began to deliver. More to follow.

Was very stoked to get up this today. Took 5 attempts to work the foot beta and complete it.

Took me some time to remember how to get establihed on this thing. Once I got the start I was able to get the remainder finished. First boulder problem at Gara in over 7 months and a doozie at that.

Fingers done and couldn't work out the pinch in the dark.

Had a play on this, must be 6 or 7 years since I last tried this with Skip. I think I'll come back with fresh skin, another pad and a spotter

Most solid lap yet. Such a great problem.

Got to this on dusk and so the headlamp came out. Stoked to get it 3rd go.
