Grips is at the start of the Baviaanskloof Wilderness area.

Kudu Kaya has 22 scattered naturally protected routes on sandstone/quartzite slab.

Waterkloof is more suited to hard sport lines. There are 18 sport routes. Although there are 18 naturally protected routes, the trad is not great.

1. 20m (18) Climb lay-back overlap from sloping slab on railway line past 2 small roofs. Pull right to a stance on a steeply-sloping ledge. Gear is a tad thin.

2. 23m (17) Climb diagonally left from the stance, over a bulge, and then diagonally up to the right on easy ground. Move up on small holds and flakes, clipping 3 bolts near the top.

Shares rings with Beam Me Up Skattie. Line is between Shoulder of Fortune and Beam Me Up Skattie.

Climb starts to the right of 'Shoulder of Fortune'. Climb up the front of the first overlap and step onto the face. Climb up delicately on crimpers to a large sloping ledge and a pair of rings.

Sandstone & quartzite mix. 16 bolted routes and 99 trad routes.
