Was initially a project by Dave Graham.

First 9A in the world set by Nalle Hukkataival in October 2016. Grade proposed by Nalle Hukkataival after several years of trials. During these years, Hukkataival "very quickly" solved several 8C and 8C+ boulder problems throughout the world, including Gioia. Compared to these other problems, Burden of Dreams felt "way way harder". The route was finally repeated and confirmed as solid 9A in April 2023 by Will Bosi William Bosi .

I gave 8C+\9A for social media but I feel it harder than all 8C+ I tried before. I know your skepticism and understand it. I am also worried and a little afraid to state such a grade, I thought long before posting. but again, I tried a lot of hard stuff in the world and I have quite a lot of experience. I hope that I gave an adequate assessment, but I am also ready to accept mistakes in case I was wrong. Blackflip is one of the hardest 8C in the world in my opinion + 5 moves from sit. My hardest FA, my hardest boulder.

First 9c of the world. The climb begins with 20 meters of sustained 8b climbing to a knee-bar rest, before entering a 10-move 8C crux with some V13 and V9 cruxes towards the anchor.

Start jako 'Brutus', dolez cestou 'Ghost Rider'. Celkem 25 těžkých kroků. Do cesty 'Ghost Rider' se přidá 8A+.

It links “Brutus”, an 8A+ (Brutus exits left into relatively easy terrain) into the start of Ghost Rider, providing a lower start into Ghost Rider. The boulder problem is long, it has 25 hard moves and according to Adam Ondra could also be graded as hard 9b sport route.

Initially put up by Dai Koyamada as an V14 in 2003 but after a hold broke graded V16. This is the "new" route.
