Hill 1306 is the name of the boulder covered feature on the ridge line opposite Square Rock. The rock is good quality with lines up to 20m. The majority of established lines follow cracks and range in difficulty from 12 - 22. There are harder lines still to go including a number of quality slab lines. In terms of area, number and quality of climbs, Hill 1306 is comparable to The Cloisters and makes for a good alternate venue whilst Orroral Ridge remains closed.

Some of the crags in the south of this area (e.g. Cantaloupe Hill) were burned in the 2020 Orroral Valley bushfire. Please exercise caution in fire affected areas.

Follow Corin Rd to Smokers Gap. From Smokers Gap continue down Corin Rd for another 4 km to a small layby / parking area on the right (-35.537832, 148.872013). The walk from the parking area to the first set of boulders takes approximately 30 minutes. The easiest route is to walk directly up to the saddle and then from the saddle up to the main boulders.
历史
Most of the climbs were done in summer 2020. There are still plenty of lines to go.
