Excellent climb with lots of variation in technique, in the shade most of the day.
As of Feb-2020 there is now a direct rap line from the sixth pitch into "Afro-Juan" (thanks to Ulric Rousseau). Ulric Rousseau also added 20+ fixed steel draws for the descent, which needs to be back clipped in order to stay close to the wall during the overhanging rappels.

Ulric Rousseau & Jacques Charbonneau The fruits of the effort is now a direct rap line from the sixth pitch into Afro Juan, and we replaced all the anchors from top to bottom, with new plated hybrid anchors, and adding extra bolts at all the belays to make the descent more comfortable for you and your partner and some bolts at the top of pitch 6 to be able to hang out and have lunch safely. We also added 20+ fixed steel draws for the descent, which needs to be back clipped in order to stay close to the wall during the overhanging rappels. |
