P1 & 2 can be bypassed by climbing the first pitch of Africa Wall, bringing the grade down to 13.

Sitstart on a low ledge. RH to the rail and then LH up to a sidepull jug.

Standing start. Climb up the center of the slab starting from the dent in the rock.

Crouch start on good jug. Follow jugs on and slightly right of arête. TO.

Classic easy route on Lion's head granite.

Climb the face exactly between the hand crack of Huguenot Wall and the thin crack of the Huguenot Wall variation, directly to the bolted stance. There is no pro.

Follow path up until you see the ladder about 50 meters away. up to your right will be a a crack/slab climb.

1. Follow this crack on slopery and ledgy holds until topout.

2. Pitch two starts about 100 meters righ of pitch 1's topout. It is a slab climb with a crack on your left, good for placing gear. Slightly mossy and wet during the winter. Topout onto a large ledge.

3. Pitch up right following crimpy holds with good friction. Amazing exposure further up on the pitch with great gear (when repitching look for broken rock, courtesy of terrible anchor).

4. Pitch four starts five meter right. First 30 meters resembles a scramble but the last 20 is beautiful climbing up a chimney-like crack. The moves are... unique. DO NOT TRUST WEDGED BOULDERS!!

5. Scramble out on a steep grassy incline. More cautious climbers may want to pitch this. All in all, great climb with good gear.

1. From the top a retangular block, climb straight up to the open book and all the way up till reach the roof. Climb 2 meters right until able to pull through and belay from a big ledge.

2. Walk around 8 meters left and then up to the right of a big chimney. Climb the face around 4 meters right of the chimney where there is a small cairn. Climb up and slightly left to a layback crack and then go diagonally right and left again to the top of a small block. Climb the face straight up and belay from a small ledge.

3. Climb up and right until squeezed underneath a large block. Climb to the left and up to the top of the huge block with amazing view to the ocean and mountains.

4. Climb easily straight up to a big ledge. Scrambling leads to the top.

Crouchstart in obvious jug in rail, climb straight up the blocky wall to TO.

Standstart, climb the slab to TO.

Standstart, climb the wall in the black streak to TO.

Standstart, climb the high slab to TO.

Standstart, climb the slab to TO.

Sitstart in Goodwood, climb straight up and slightly R via diagonal holds to TO.

This route heads up the prominent stepped white pillar to the left of the imposing crag.

1. 20m 12. Excellent climbing on vertical rock to the platorm above.

2. 20m 12. Directly up.

3. 20m 15. Climb directly up on good rock.

4. 25m 15. Climb the attractive white headwall.

Descent: From the top of the pillar scramble down the back to a platform. Rappel to the gorge below and head straight down it.

This chess piece is the second biggest tower to the right from Smalblaar Ridge and is split into three portions by small gullies. The route starts roughly in the centre of the middle section (see large cairn).

1. 90 feet 'E inf.': Traverse in from the left along a ledge to a point where there is an obvious break in the bulge. Climb through the bulge and continue up to a handrail. Traverse to the right for 10 feet before climbing to a stance below the overhang.

2. 90 feet 'E inf.': Traverse to the right past a chimney to reach the base of an easy recess. Most of the dassie-crawling can be avoided by using footholds on the face below. Climb the recess and then follow an obvious traverse to the left to a small stance.

3. 70 feet 'E sup.': Traverse left below overhangs to gain bushy ledge.

4. 30 feet 'E inf.': Climb the ramp that slopes up to the right.

5. 90 feet 'F inf.': Traverse out left, using a jug handle grip on the left-hand side of the small overhang to reach a crack. Climb the face above, pitted with jug grips, moving slightly to the left at the top to gain stance.

6. 100 feet 'E': Traverse back to the right to the base of a chimney. Ascend the chimney to a stance (use the exit on the left-hand wall).

7. 90 feet 'E sup.': Start up a chimney and traverse out to the right on to the face for 20 feet. Climb up a crack in the face to a stance. A further 15 feet of scrambling to another ledge could be included in this pitch.

8. 60 feet 'F inf.': Climb the left-hand wall of a shallow chimney which narrows higher up, and then exit on to the face on the left. Ascend the face, which is cut by a few cracks, to reach the stance. A further 80 feet of scrambling leads to the summit.

Climb right of the bolts.

This climb ascends the vertical face on the bottom right-hand side of the descent gully (looking from below).

1. Take off from some large blocks and climb the very vertical face until the more broken area on top of the rock rib is reached. Climb this and make a stance.

2. Climb the rock rib to easier ground.

Nice overhang 15 starting on the face that has afternoon shade just 4 meters of the Baby Robot pillar.

Start on the obvious pillar on the right hand gully of the Knobless Robot pillar.

1. Climb the pillar to a narrow ledge.

2. Climb up and left to the exposed face and head up to the top.

To descend, walk right along ledge and abseil down 40OOF.

A fantastic route, highly recomended. It is in the shade for much of the day, great summer climbing.

Start: At an obvious crack on the left hand side of Block Buttress.

1. 20m (15) Climb the crack to an easy and obvious traverse. Follow the traverse right and climb up to a bolted stance.

2. 35m (15) Climb up and left onto a shattered shelf. Follow the shelf to the left and where it runs out do a scary pull over (very exposed) and continue up to a ledge on the right. (Pitch could be broken here.) Climb the undercut corner/crack at the base of the ledge, then go diagonally up and left across a face split by horizontal rails. At the left side of the face continue straight up the arete to a good ledge above and to the right. This is at the right hand base of the blocky pyramid that provides the key to this route.

3. 20m (8) Scramble up and to the left to the top of the blocky pyramid.

4. 15m (15) Climb up into the recess on the right, reach high for an excellent rail and move acros the corner onto the face on the left, directly above the belayer. Continue straight up a vague recess to a narrow ledge under another large roof.

5. 35m (15) Traverse easily to the right for 6 or 7m, then climb up to a rail beneath a roof and traverse back left for 3 or 4m to bypass the overhangs. Climb straight to the top. There is a great tree to use as an anchor.
