This climb just has the most ridiculously beautiful location, movement, line, holds….it’s definitely my favourite route climb so far!!!!! My first try involved remembering everything I’d forgotten (which was literally pretty much everything) and then it went on the second try!! Definitely the perfect climb in terms of learning for me over my intermittent sessions on it throughout the last two years, particularly for laybacking and trusting feet (and foot almost jamming! And remembering beta!). the climbing was followed by a swim in front of Whitewater Wall through the kelp-covered sunken boulder field below, it was the most perfect (although almosttt too warm!) summers day☀️🌊🩵

Tricky start. I misread the sequence and tired myself out trying to jam my way up the beginning. Wasn't too bad once I realised what I was supposed to do, but I was too wiped out by then to do it clean. Double rack up to 0.5 did the job. Also I can't believe the anchor bolts at the top were chopped.

Awesome little climb. First thing in morning, got really bad flash pump faffing on the bottom part and couldn't remember if top half was hard so was sure I was going to fall,

Goddamn I love top-roping! Originally seconded this behind Alex but got to repeat it again this weekend, very flowy movement

Dogged it on the Saturday and came back for the send on Monday! took some time to unlock the starting sequence, really enjoyed the finger-locks!

What euphoria!! One of my dream projects goes!! a couple tries to figure out the gear and positions to place it from, but everything went perfectly for the send! the movements on this climb are so amazing. Couldn't be more stoked! post send swimmies with Gabby for celebration! Now I need a new project!

Thanks to Crhis's great gear locations i was able to climb my hardest grade outdoors so far.

wisely decided to toppie instead of lead. gave it a couple burns and got it with one fall! super excited to have worked out the techy fingery start! should have been able to put it together but a silly foot pop and general ineptitude/fatigue prevented this. stoked to get it clean next time. would be absolute nails to lead (maybe later this year!). was 20 in the guidebook, so I had to hop on it to celebrate my 20th! cheeky ocean swim off the rocks between burns

Tough to start, but a great route once you have some gear in.

might've gone onsight? if not for pesky foot pop; as it was, got it in 3. Crux straight off the ground makes pro strenuous to place. but once it's in, the gear is good.

Pfew what an adventure, hit the deck on my onsight attempt when I took on a nut at the start that pulled out sideways. Little bit shaken decided to top rope it. Felt pretty doable and gear was solid so figured I'd give it another redpoint burn.

2nd redpoint go I had completely forgotten about my jamming beta, so I hung onto the good fingerlock for ages figuring out where to go. Despite my trepidations at the start I managed to make it through only to came off above the sentry box because I had forgotten where to go.

3rd go, I found good sport climber beta through the start only using 1 fingerlock and laybacking the rest. This attempt was thwarted by a foot slip getting into the sentry box, the gear held but I did land on my feet back on the ground.

With daylight fading, I decided to quickly have a 4th go with the first 3 pieces still in. This go I made it to the top but does make it a pink point. When my butt is less sore from the ground fall I'll have to go back for the proper clean red point.

But hey, with 3 falls on gear in 1 day I've definitely accomplished my "Learn to fall on gear" trip goal

I did the top half clean on top rope and just need to get the beta sorted for the first section, definitely the coolest and most beautiful climb i've tried!

Damn this is hard. Pump factor was unreal. Not ideal conditions but it went. 20 is just a tad conservative i think.
