Ascensioni in Carnage Wall

Definitely not a fully bolted sport route. No apparent anchor, so I just downclimbed to clean.

Sent as the warm up after hanging the draws and brushing holds. Really fun movement, not sure if it deserves 26 points.

Day flash, super pleased with this one! Bit of runout for a scary finish.

I'm not sure if it's possible to hold any of the crimps on this climb. Was kinda fun to try though haha

Super cool, steep climbing. Was so close to getting this. Foot popped on last go after crux move.

Had a go after Jess, crimps were a bit much for me, few of the moves seemed impossible

26 in the newest guide book. Did all the moves and managed it in two parts, just kept messing up the iron cross move, then would do it straight after falling.

Fell at last bolt before anchor. Executed sequence well but couldn't crank on the crimp enough to clip

There's a potential line between skiing and lunges, staying strictly on the arete and not getting on either face.

Second attempt made it clean to my high point, still unsure where to from there.

No bolts (including anchor), hard to protect (big cams might be useful, used tricams and hexes), rappel off obvious thread at the top of the wall. It's a shame this climb is neglected, I can see it being an above-average route if it wasn't so dirty.

I really didn’t expect to onsight this, especially at the end of the day, so I’m well chuffed. Great fun. The top was definitely the crux for me.

Redpoint 3rd go today. Took a big whipper right by the 4th bolt on the last hard move on my 2nd go. Favourite route in Payne's!

Upgraded to 26 after a hold broke at the start according to the guidebook.

All free with rests. Moves feeling pretty okay.

Cruisey bolt to bolt but absolutely botched it second go trying for the red point!
