This, as a single pitch, is one of the best pitches of climbing in the multiverse. This should NEVER be broken up into two pitches: why spoil a perfect pitch? I would have chopped the superfluous midway anchors during my onsight free solo but I forgot to bring my crowbar that day.

2 or 3 cruxy moves, one blind dyno makes this one a really good line

First time back after 2 years! It’s still hard lol. Or rather, it’s pretty atypical for Blueys routes in that it is very unbouldery: all the individual sequences are not too bad but linking is a different story. The best parts are before the break but the pumpiest are above.

It’s drier than in 2022 but I still wanted a raincoat for cleaning.

Nice crux move

Managed get the overhang clean but had a little spill at the bottom. Still really gross in full sun.

Footslip at the top prefaced my first winger on gear, maybe picked the best route/spot for it. Now halfway down the route I opted for the easy way out. Also my first climb with crack gloves, and they are in fact aid.

Fun! Surprisingly dry after first 2m while nearby routes were wet. To sew it up bring #.5 - #5 and doubles of #2 - #4 for bumping.

Repeat to reacquaint myself with the mantle.

Since last sesh and the progress made then, I knew I had to come out sooner rathen than later. I made the drive at 530am before work for this thing. Fumbled my first few goes due to nerves, but I managed to bag it! First of the grade

What a classic, climbed as one pitch.

Spicier than expected.

Used #.2 - #2 including two #1s. Pleasant! Some choss but easily avoided.

Best cave traverse on the coast. Start hold broken off, so started on the lowest part of the slopey rail which didn’t change difficulty.

First top rope solo send! Keeps you busy, it’s a nice climb 😊

Awesome line, little bit of crumbly rock but well worth the fun campusy movement. First flash of the grade!

Easy way out. Very cruisy for the grade. More bolts than you can poke a stick at Enjoyable

Fun route. Pitches are a bit short. Linking 1&2 would make a good long pitch. Only one #5 and one #4 needed if you’re smart and comfortable

Was expecting to do this quickly as I am 6'3'... 15 attempts later finally stuck the break. Lovely v1 top out though!

I developed a little mental block of putting my feet down on the swing. Hard not to dab when my knees touch the ground while I am 1 arm on the jug. I finally tucked enough to avoid the pads, and then dabbed on the tree behind, but not enough to change anything. Would be classic if you are smaller and don't dab on absolutely everything

Was really struggling to get the left hand out to the hold under the roof, but you just gotta go. Cool boulder!

Crux was fun to figure out

Very enjoyable! Why would anyone skip the first summit? It was certainly the most enjoyable part of the whole ordeal.

Guidebook says grade 8? Felt hard in certain bits. Overall quite enjoyable. Linked the two pitches as one, minding rope drag
