攀登 in Sunnyside

I didn’t read the description of this route and found myself struggling on sloppers and with not enough QuickDraws

What a sequence, hard for me , managed do to with one rest after the pocket move. ( not my style, I need some hold to shake 😅). Happy to come back and give one more shot now that I know all the moves.

If you stay on the real line and right of the bolts I think it's a hard one. If you use all the jugs on the left side it will be cruise.

kinda. too wet for last 1-2m to anchors, so up to last bolt

Got to bolt 3 before injury and fatigue prevented progress. One to come back to.

Always walked past this and told myself I'd get on it one day. Today I did! Awesome tensiony layback moves on savage crimps with abysmal feet. Fun!

Just joking, Andrew! Never been so proud of dogging something to the top. The most sustained thing I'ver ever been on. The rain and wind came in while I was getting up so I pulled on draws and did not do all the moves to get to the top, but was happy to get to the anchors before the rain got stronger.

A hard earned onsight with some screaming because I didn't climb it too well before the cave. Pretty cool climb, big rest in the middle, but hard before that. Bolting on both sides too close to the line does confuse you in a couple of spots...

Much better this time around. Climbed faster and just committed to the move from the undercling.

Felt like the bolting on this wall was odd. So much bolting yet none of the bolts felt like the lined up well on this route. Good jugs and stances to clip from where available yet some of the clips were closer to some funky holds?

Pretty good climbing overall and found a fun no hands rest before the crux for me. Weird undercling crimp before big move up. Would be nice to come back for the send when fresh and not in the rain.

Felt tougher towards the bottom. Took a hang a few moves after the cave. Ended up making a righthand dead point move from a lefthand hold. Was quite good and fun. Bit of pump management but cool feet towards the top.

I very rarely log dogs of a route but this thing was too good to not comment on the quality. Incredible moves, nice airiness, and solid pump. Had a red point crack on my second attempt pump was too strong up the top to get through those tricky moves.
