Cold and windy

Not sure what I expected. Interesting variety of movement and rock type, but in no way worth the crowds. waiting at the gate at 5:30, still wasn't first party, a group hiked from outside the park at 5am. a total clusterfuck of unnecessary hanging belays and crowds heading up and down. if you get on first, go for it. if there are people ahead of you, go climb something else.

Pre-dawn start to beat the crowds, but bizarrely no other parties that day!

All hanging belays, I lost 2 toe nails for this climb ;o) Can only imagine how chaotic it would be abseiling the route with 4 climbers and 4 ropes at each belay!

surely one of the best at the grade anywhere in the world. A long walk in, 9 pitches of fantastic climbing, 8 raps and a long walk out. Mega classic doesn't do it justice. Superb and absorbing climbing the whole way. Swinging leads with Lindsay, I had odds.

Led every pitch. Fantastic climb!
