Ascensions dans Picnic Lunch Wall Area

My first multi-pitch route in Smith Rock with my guide leading. Long slab p1, simple p2 and very open and airy p3.

The first pitch is really nice movement and climbing but the amount of loose, cracking and flexing holds was a little off putting! The second pitch is just shuffling up to the next belay station. The last pitch I found much easier climbing for the grade compared to the first pitch and the arete, exposure and location is just phenomenal!

managed to get on this on a rainy friday afternoon. linked p1+p2 (it's fine not clipping any p2 bolts, just stay on the river side of the ridge)

lovely, and so interesting - a must do at the grade

thoughtful, thin, and smeary, but it's all there

Fun swinging on wacos leads to knobby slab climbing on hollow sounding rock. Good warm up and easy access make this route enticing for many. Climb it very early or wait till late in the afternoon because it sees sun all day long.

One of my favorite sport leads at smith. Great, varied face climb. Hueco section is harder than it looks. I probably would grade this 9+ but crag doesn't provide that so I gave it 10a. View and exposure are awesome.
