Fun end of day attempt in the pouring rain... Felt like I was climbing well... and then I found the crux!

Took a few biiiiiiig falls on the crux undercling move. When I stuck it (replete with flying drive-by) I felt like a boss!

Short (if climbed without linking into the upper pitch) but great rock, and very strange (engaging) moves. I'm happy to call this one 25 with my physiology.

A great FA, whereby I still had to fight to stick the top moves, despite 5 sessions on this thing (most of them in TRS).

Once you get to the steepness, its all just genuinely fun climbing. The rock quality is wave wall, but longer, and steeper. The main 3 bolts of the crux is just super funky, powerful, tucked-in bouldering over a long sequence, and I just really enjoyed my time on this.

Awesome rock and location

First ascent- came a lot easier than king Geedorah.

This route slowly wears you down… yes in isolation it’s easy. Going for the full pitch adds the punch

Repeat warmup, such a classic.

I have vague memories of trying the start of this a few years ago and never went past the first bolt or two so can't let myself claim a flash on this one. Anyway great fun pumper.

One 60m rope is long enough to do all the abseils. Third pitch is easy but no-fall, last pitch is sandbagged. A fantastic adventure.

Got 1.5 tie-ins before the sun hit and it became impossible. Still pretty much going bolt to bolt but found a better beta for the very end of the traverse

2 shots. I had a pretty good (tenacious) onsight attempt, but the mid-height crux took me a bit to figure out.

On the second shot, I ended up linking from the initial traverse no-hands rest, to the top, through all 3 cruxes. I'll definitely come back for the true send, because this is a great climb!

Like the other routes here, this thing is quite continuous and sustained. Yet this one quite definitely has 2 thin and technical cruxes to keep it interesting.

Awesome, continuous face climbing, with no obvious "stances" to break up the pitch. Seconding Mitch clean to exit the crag. Fairly sustained, though with no pronounced crux. Great rock, rad moves... the start is all time

I never log ascents. Just wanted to add the block in the MIDDLE of pitch 2 looks like its getting closer to being a flight risk. Not the previously discussed belay ledge block.

Thin spooky headwall. Nice to take some falls again with friends

If you're doing the direct start it might be worth on the abseil down placing a 5 or 4 with a long sling above the now lushly vegetated corner down low as there's not much pro down there and hardest move on the climb scrambling up below it, or could alternatively tie an alpine butterfly in the static rope to use on the way back up. The one bolt below it is an old one but seems solid enough

Seconding Monty on the FA. Not clean -I got too scared on second on the traverse crux at the start (given there was 35m of rope in the system) and aided off a bolt out to the arete. It then also took me a bit to figure out the mid-height crux.

A very cool mixed route, IMO. The start is a funky bit of traversing (who doesn't love a traverse crux, right?) and the face section is more varied face climbing.

Exciting second pitch and ridiculous chimney squeeze on the thirds.

Bah, not winning Fell off a key hold well-above the cruxy start that for some reason was covered in sand. Its okay, future ascensionists, I've cleaned it up for you now

The start is hard, but super rad when you figure it out. The roof is strangely easy, given its absurdity, and the climbing above is relatively cruisy.
