Either absolutely spent from projecting yesterday or it’s a wee harder than a 17. Felt akin to some of the 18 pitches on BBB.

First time up this in a long time! I would only give it two stars in some areas, but in terms of the lower mountains there's nothing else like this - an easy spicy multi in a scenic spot.

A dodgy set of stacked blocks halfway up is highly disconcerting. Especially as a bolt has been placed into one of them...

The first pitch is a really good confidence-booster for those who have not led too many routes before. The start of the second pitch is a little tricky, but get the sequence of moves right and it's a really good climb.

Cool 3d climbing, found the second pitch tricky and a little heady coming around the corner from the P1 belay. Thoroughly enjoyed it 🤙 Lead P1 Second P2

Linked both pitches (use a number of alpines and skip a bolt or two).

What a beautiful climb! Genuinely enjoyed the variety of styles: good jugs, flakes, stemming, a bit of smearing, it's all in here. If a move seems hard, explore a bit more, there are a lot of features. The views are absolutely fantastic. Because the route is new, there are still a few loose rocks here and there, especially on the 2nd pitch, so worth being a bit mindful. Thank John for enabling us to enjoy this piece of art!

Continuing Ivana’s whirlwind tour of the mountains. She thought it felt like 5.8 then 5.9 (16 then 17).

New belay position is comfortable and super scenic 😁. Ten draws is enough now that pitches have similar lengths. Happy with this climb.

Shifted the belay down to a more comfortable stance which will be safer if someone whips at the crux.

Nice that Ev and Aminah wanted to come and check out this line! I'm going to move the belay tomorrow so that it's in a more comfortable and spacious position.

Pete wanted to come check it out. He thought P1 is about 17 if you stay true to the line suggested by the bolts.

Belayed from the rap chains above the end of P2, which works fine if there isn’t wind - I could still hear, though I couldn't see.

Super fun route. Lots of options for moves and holds. Spectacular view. Looking forward to coming back.

Incredibly proud of this little adventure! I’m giving it a biased three stars because it’s exactly what I want in a climb: some jug hauling and balancey traversing (P1), some nauseating exposure and a spicy move or two, and most importantly, to be put right in the middle of an unspoilt panoramic landscape (P2). Will lead this in a day or two then open it up. Thanks Phil for sharing the goods!

First free-ish ascent. Very good. Needs to be bolted but I'm going to log my progress on here for diary keeping purposes. I think a big flake needs to be pinned to the cliff for safety.
