攀登 in The Mild West by Faith Meckley having trad-cpr 或 ascent-date

Got pretty scared leading this one. Lots of excellent rests on the climb if you jam a limb into the crack, but extracting yourself from the rest and getting yourself moving again was the heady part. Found some slimy rock where I was hoping to find jugs. Probably should've placed more gear - placed 4 cams and hustled to the top. Bring big off-width cam sizes for Slash and its neighboring routes to stitch up the sizable cracks.

Delightful lead, beautiful rock formations

Most exciting trad lead I've done to date. Exposure is exhilarating. Glad I brought my crack gloves as I was able to get a couple of really solid hand jams in. The layback just before the top out really got my adrenaline going.

Fun climb, tricky placing pro at the bottom where the crack is wide, but otherwise plenty of options. Snuck in a couple of solid hand jams.
