Links in der Ostwand schrofige Schlucht, oben linksh., zu Sandband (Blockschlinge). Auf diesen 15m nach rechts (Blockschlinge + 4.AÖ). Kamin im Winkel bzw. dessen re. Kaminkante (PORZELLANKANTE) zu Abs. (links NR). Rechts schräge Kamine zu Abs. (1.R des KRIPPENER WEGES). Rechts seichte Rinne hoch, nach wenigen Metern Umstieg in rechte Rinne u. diese zu Verklüftung (rechts auf kl. Pfeiler Nachholöse). In der Kluft zur Schusterplakette u. Kamin absteigen. (Oberhalb des Kamingrunds Stand an Knotenschlingen. Nicht an der dünnwandigen SU!!) Rechts kurzen engen Kamin zum unteren Reitgrat, diesen bis zum zum Ende u. links überdachte Wandstufe zu gr. Abs. (Schlinge). Dahinter zu Kamin und linksgeneigte Rippe (oberer Reitgrat) z.G.

Rechts in der Südseite auf Absatz, dann rechts der Rippe folgen. An derem Ende über Reibungswand zum Gipfelaufbau.

Von Südosten blockgefüllten Kamin linkshaltend zu Absatz. Kante linkshaltend auf großen Absatz in der Nordwand (2. Abseilöse). In Wandmitte zG.

In der südlichen Kante links zu Ring und gerade zu 2. Ring. Dann linkshaltend zum Gipfel.

5+ Sanduhren, eine davon mit Kevlar.

Etwas rechts der Südkante hoch und über Band Traverse nach rechts zur Verschneidung. Über Verschneidung zu großer Höhle (Ring) und in ihr über Kamin zum Gipfel (linke Seite). In der Höhle nachholen.

In Mitte Südwestseite über Blöcke mit künstlichen Tritten zu kleinem Kessel. Links Spalt zum Gipfel.

1. Comienzo de la vía por una fisura que sale recta desde el canalizo donde empieza la vía. R en árboles un pelín incomoda.

2. Continúa a la derecha de la R por el diedro/chimenea. R equipada justo al salir del diedro a la derecha.

3. Sigue recto montándose a la derecha del techo por una fisura en diedro. R equipada.

4. Paso inicial de placa con 3 parabolts protegiendola y resto por una fisura recta. Este paso se puede ser escaqueado hacia la izquierda evitando la placa (5+ sería asi). R equipada.

5. Fisura para salir ya hasta la cima. R no equipada.

P1/P2 can easily be linked & helps speed things up on busy summer days. It´s also common to climb right at P5 to the abseil line, as the final pitches are not of the same quality & it´s common for the rope to get snagged on the flake above

An der SW-Kante zu 2. Absatz. Rechtshaltend über gestuften Fels, zuletzt Spalt von SO zG.

11m links der "Südkante" wand, kurze Rippe (R) und Wand zu großer Hangelrippe. Diese zu 2.R. Handriss zum großen Band der "Kneifervariante" (2. Abseilöse). Diese oder "Südkante" zG.

Classic line heading up the full height of Presten. Starts on right side of main face, about 20m left of a steep choked gully. Abseil retreat possible with two ropes without leaving gear up to end of pitch 4.

1. Up centre of three shallow corners, then traverse left to crack which leads to a small ledge with a chain belay to the right.

2. Follow groove then up to flake/block on the left. Continue into a thin finger-crack and continuation to bolt/chain belay.

3. Up the narrow groove then left up a diagonal ramp to bolt/chain belay.

4. Short wall and groove then up to bolt/chain belay. This pitch can be linked into the following with careful rope management.

5. Move up to right of large block and follow cracks to belay on top of block.

6. Up thin cracks/grooves to a good ledge, then traverse 20m left (some rope drag and loose rock) to belay on a higher ledge in base of groove.

7. Follow groove and flake until it becomes a thin crack, then step left into a parallel crack system. Continue up into a left-facing groove to belay above a bulge in the corner.

8. Continue up the groove then right into slabby groove. Belay on either of two ledges at the base of the 'Slanting Corner'.

9. The 'Slanting Corner'. Up the clean groove to tiny ledge, then trend left before heading right (can be climbed direct, but harder). Below up right at large block.

10. Up left across ledges to a large loose flake jammed in a groove. Climb carefully up past the flake, then continue left up a chimney groove and below at its top, below open groove.

11. Follow the open groove up and right to its top, then move down and right for several metres, before traversing horizontally right. Make delicate moves around right into the grassy exit gully.

12. Scramble up grassy gully to top.

Rechts in der Nordwestseite auf Band nach rechts und Südwestkante zG.

The clean crack in the right facing corner. The lower section is somewhat polished and is the crux while the upper section is a bit more juggy but still interesting. Good gear throughout.

Very popular multi pitch route at the 'Schafbergwand'. The route follows the arete from west to east. A must for visitors of this crag.

4 m links der "Südwestrippe" Reibung gerade zu R. Feine rechtsgeneigte Rippe zum Absatz von "Alter Weg". Diesen zG.

One of the four 6- ultra classics in Bohuslän.

nut after 2nd bolt

The easiest and most climbed multi-pitch route on Piatra Altarului. Dry tooling is allowed on it during winter season.

It has 2 variants. The classical one which follows the line from the topo and the direct one which starts where most of the other multi-pitch routes start and has common belay stations with the Requiem route then continues to the right and back to the classical route.

Rechts in der Südseite zu Plateau (Nachholering). In Südostwand rechts Rissfolge, an Loch rechtsausbiegend (Sanduhr an Ostkante), und Wand linksansteigend zu Schulter in der Südwestwand (Abseilring). Wand zG.

Classic. Beautiful.Geniale Linie Absicherung gut, jedoch mit Friends und Keile auf allen Längen aufzubessern. Abstieg über Wanderweg.

Vom "Dom" über den "Kesselgrat" (2 Nachholeringe) zur Pfeife. Überfall zur "Esse". Rechts queren und Riss in Südwestwand zG.

Die Ostkante, an mehreren Sanduhren vorbei, zum Gipfel.

Zustieg über den Kofelsteig, da wo der Weg an eine glatte Felswand kommt nach rechts und Schutthalde queren. Über Schrofenvorbau. aufwärts (kurz II) nach rechts und am Grat nach links steil zum Einstieg.

1. Schräg links zu Haken, dann gerade hoch zu Standplatz (30m, 3BH)

2. Nicht nach links zu BH, sondern rechts durch steile Rinne bis es über eine Latsche nach links zum Standplatz geht (Wandbuch, 30m, 3BH)

3. Noch etwas weiter nach links, dann gerade über plattige Verschneidung zu Stand (45m, 4BH).

Von da seilfrei unschwierig über Schrofen zum Kofelgipfel.

The right trending crack line on the front of the buttress. Around the rooflet to the right near the top. Awesome position, consistent climbing the whole pitch with excellent protection.

Classic. Bolted, but can be protected with an additional sling.

Von Südosten blockgefüllten Kamin zum Absatz und rechts schräge Wand zu Plattform (2. Abseilöse). Erst links, dann in Mitte Südwand gerade zG.

Popular route. Affected by rock fall so the first pitch description may not be accurate - see https://www.thebmc.co.uk/tremadog-danger! Starts at the base of a steep groove where there is a ledge with a large tree on it to the left.

1. 25m (4c). Climb to a large tree, traverse left and climb up ledges to the bottom of a groove, ascend this to belay off a large flake on a ledge.

2. 30m (4c). Go left, climb up cracks, then up and right to reach a small ledge and spike above a roof. Climb slab with ledges until at the same height of a crack on the right. Climb right into the crack, then up onto slab and rightwards to reach a belay below and left of the flake on the next pitch.

3. 15m. Climb up and traverse the hanging flake, then up and onto an optional belay on a ledge. Climb back left, then up the groove to a belay at the top of the cliff.

Mixed trad

Lovely crack climbing up the obvious (and very polished) corner.

Take path no. 542 from Rifugio Re Alberto (some short aided sections). Go to the base of the Towers and go up the gully/couloir that divides the Torre Piaz from Torre Delago. Climb until you reach a small platform at the saddle between the two towers. This is where you start the route (40 m, I/II, 1 piton + cemented ring).

1st pitch: Climb vertically until you reach a mini-cave and pass it on the left (piton), and continue along a vertical stretch of whitish rock (nail). Move to the right for a few meters, then return to the left until you reach the edge of the corner where you stop. (30 m, IV+, 3 pitons)

2nd pitch: The most beautiful point of the route. Belay stance, go around the corner to the left, looking out over the valley below in an impressive way. Climb the vertical arete (piton) on small and somewhat polished holds. After about ten meters, return to the right of the arete. Scramble up some easy blocks you reach a small ledge. Follow a not-so obvious crack above it until you reach a ledge with the belay stance. (30m, IV, 3 pitons)

3rd pitch: Climb the dihedral staying just to the right of the arete (2 close pitons). Then, a leaning ramp leads to a small ledge where the belay is located. (25 m, IV, 2 pitons, lots of fixed slings)

4th pitch: Go diagonally to the right, following bladey bits of rock. Go up a whitish slab, up through a chimney until you reach the easy ridge that leads to the summit. You can divide the pitch by stopping before the white slab. (50m, IV, 1 piton)

Descent: The main abseil descent is on the the north-east face, possible to merge abseils with double ropes.

1. 33m, vertically in the notch between the Delago and Stabeler towers up to a huge boulder wedged between the two towers;

2. 20m, descending into the canal, spectacular double with stretches in the void, ring on Torre Delago;

3. 20m, descending again along the narrow channel there is a ring on the Stabeler Tower;

4. 20m, still in the canal, approaching the base of the Stabeler tower, the ring is located on a comfortable terrace.

5. 30m, down to the ground.

From here, follow the trail back down to Rifugio Re Alberto.

Pitch 2 : 6 bolts Pitch 3 : 3 bolts

Requires 50m single rope. Sparsely bolted; a set of nuts and cams 0.3-3 (BD) is recommended.

Up two bolts. Follow the zig-zag cracks to the top. Good protection.
