攀登 in Gloucestershire

A slightly bold start that leads to an enjoyable laybacky crack climb.

Lovely route, not a lot of foot holders. We choose it as a warm up but later we found out that it was a bit hard for a warm up. It is probably a 6a. I friend that climbs up to 5+ could not do it.

Climbed the start of Trigger Finger to the left ledge to start Mowser as the start of this route is massively vegetated. Nice climb at the middle, side crack style. The rib at the top is a bit of a faith act without handholds and relying on friction. Clearly a very strong climber opened these routes as all are undergraded. This is probably a easy 5+.

Good gear below. Not so good gear up high. Still a good line overall.

Couldn't feel my feet in borrowed shoes. Still had fun though.

Better and scarier than the other VSs. The hand traverse gets the blood flowing even if its within your grade

First pitch is a bit awkward, specially to lead it. Second I found it a bit harder that the first but better protected with really big cams. Second first, lead second.

Somewhat horrible, not quite certain why

Tricky start nice even climb thru the rest

Unexciting, a series of ledges, strung together with slightly balancy moves.

Good route, excellent protection
