Ascensioni in Gelber Turm

Decent wall climbing with some nice pockets in the part after the ledge, but the bolts are crap, so make sure to add some protection. Tricams might work better than cams in the pockets in the lower part. One part of the big hollow flake in the upper part made a cracking sound when I carefully pulled on it, so I refrained from using it in the end. The fixed nut directly next to the last bolt is a welcome sight, but I'm not sure the flake would remain in place in case of a fall.

#repeat, including the pitch starting from one storey lower. Climbed that one with backpack, so it felt super hard.

Finished off the day with this one, after some development work elsewhere. Actually, we had hoped to get some sun, but the sun is too low at this time of the year. Climbed it nevertheless, it's great even in the shade at temperatures around the freezing point.

Tried this one last year already but had an epic odyssey, followed a red herring (that is, an old sling) and got off route. Now back again and on the right track. Good classic with lots of character and very rough rock. I removed the nasty thorns above the first bolt. In the upper part, many big blocks sound hollow, but most are quite solid.
