Got to the traverse putting gear on then subsequently worse shots. Classic power enduro

Linked in 2 overlapping sections. Needs more training before it goes.

This route has been on my mind since I first saw the legendary photos. It was a privilege to hop on and live out a climbing fantasy. Getting to the roof, I found myself increasingly intimidated and fluffed the beta on the traverse to the lip, requiring a sit. On the next attempt, I committed and pulled through, power screaming at the top of my lungs. Yes, it is as good as everyone says

Took a fall on first attempt traversing out through the crux. A better hand sequence got me through on the second attempt from the thread.

Seconding James. What a line. It was going well until I arrived in the corner and surveyed the crimp rail, the steepness, and the potential swing. Had a take at the thread and then campused, inelegantly, across. So much harder than Kachoong, but absolutely mega.

Some stuck wires await the next ascenders.

The stuff of dreams. Did not have my feet sorted for the quest to the lip and took a small whip. Re grouped and turned the lip with no fuss immediately after.

Figured it out, just need to pull a little harder to get the tick.

Yewww. Need to refine a little more. Almost went 3rd go today. Learning the beta was fun.

So fun, will be back. Took a little to figure out which way the route went.

Clipped the chains this time! So sick. Did all the moves but one which apparently isn't a crux for anyone else 🤔

Struggling on move down low, rest sorted. Will come back when have more time.

Didn't get easier over last year!

felt 10x harder than debutantes, but I guess I just need to spend a day on this to get used to the wall. Keen to come back

Probably the best hard climb I’ve tried, keen to put some time into it with good Connie’s. Couldn’t quite manage 2nd bolt to 3rd but did the rest. Time to hangboard

Felt good to almost send when the holds were covered in oil lol. Gotta stop climbing in spoogy gullies

Dynamic and snipey. A couple laps so was a good workout. Will come back when it’s crisp. Far too humid today

So so so good!

First try got spooked at the crux, called take then did the campus comfortably

Second try got majorly pumped trying to clip the piece before the campus using my hip then took a good whipper on the last move of the crux, accompanied by a comical scream

Took a nice gear fall on the roof! This route is iconic for a reason!

I am sure if this was not a final day climb I would have had enough energy to pull over the top.

The logical and best finish to a very enjoyable wall. Came off on the last move then climbed to top 2nd go. Holds get smaller until they all but disappear for the cruxy exit.
