攀登 in Amok Wall

10 laps training in my Become Adam Demmert programme. Having the plastic surgery next week - so excited! Conditions a bit warm, had to climb shirtless by the end.

more fun steep climbing, sad lack of gear.

Hard to work out where this goes - probably finishes up Helter Skelter, but a direct finish is definitely possible, maybe 27ish, and would be quite good.

Too thin for me these days sadly... nice work by Adam, a good route.

Good climbing with some dodgy rock (gave it a good kick on second though) and some moss and dirt at the top. Great onsight lead by Wendy!

Adam the giant failed to mention that it is at least 22 for midgets. I might have to stop climbing with Adam, it's too disappointing to see him check my 5th piece of gear without leaving the ground and reach straight past the 2 desperate bits. There's also some dodgy rock, but it did survive all of us hauling on it.

I really wanted a control minus function to move everything a bit closer together. Moves are pretty cool, but a little like 27 for midgets. I didn't think the ending was as bad as Douglas did.

Starts well but peters out. Not as good as the others.

Might be 23. Great climbing on big holds, easier and better protected than Amok!

Good climbing if you are taller.

So good it got a quick second ascent by international visitors who'd already heard the rumours ... actually, this is a really fun route, steep with mostly huge holds. Take lots of cams to red camalot.

Why does my boyfriend keep finding new routes that are impossible for midgets?

Amazing. Incredible. My whole life as a climber has culminated in this. At least today it did.

This is good! Needs a brush but nice rock and moves.

What is the point of sandbagging a route with 18 when it looks about 24? Rock and climbing is nice, very Douglas style with big moves between good holds to a thin crux. Seems 22-23 ish.

Tried to lead it but got all pumped and scared and put a TR on it. Good climbing, needs a chain. Gear is actually fine, I was just having a wussy day.
