攀登 in 澳大利亚 by Kaspa Snoad

This one is going to take a while.

Came super close to sending today, I have chosen to skip the sloper and go straight for the high rail with great success. My fingers are on the hold , I just have to commit to hanging on.

Great to get a repeat of this problem, even if it took a minute to remember the beta.

Love this climb, one of my personal favourites.

Great climb, fun movements, on good holds, and the rock looks super cool.

Super enjoyable, high slab with small but good holds throughout.

Really lovely climb, even in the mid-morning sun.

Very desperate slab requires full commitment on an almost non-existent foothold and a shallow mono pocket, and it doesn't get much better from there. Very hard but satisfying send, probably closer to V6, in my opinion.

V2 if you are tall, short boy beta feels closer to V3

Best pocket hold in all of Harvey's.

Sloper goodness, the extra pad and a spotter made all the difference.

I made good progress today, but I would like a spotter before committing to the final crux moves, which put me in some compromised positions.

Interesting sit-start on this short problem, difficulty is pretty sustained throughout.

An interesting looking feature that is fun to climb, even if it is a bit crumbley.

The very high starting gastons aren'too bad, but fighting the barn door is what makes it hard. Shoulder was feeling too tweaky to continue with attempts.

Crumbley, choosy, goodness.

Tweaked my shoulder on my first attempt, but still managed to get the send. Would be a lot easier for taller people.

Enjoyable, even with a tweaked shoulder. I just wish it had a few more moves.

Struggling to fit my fingers in the sharp slot, I keep cutting the back of my fingers when I try.

If you can't grab the insanely small micro crimp, don't even bother.

Great high slab, easy climbing.

About halfway through the crux, one or two more moves, and we should unlock the send.

Such a classic.

The big flake is extremely loose, feels like it could blow at any moment. A tree is growing in front of the problem, which makes it almost impossible to climb properly.

Terrible landing and hard to pad safely. I'm also too short to jump to the thin crimp from the designated starting position, searching for alternative beta.

Absolutely terrible sloper, and super reachy. Much better suited to taller climbers. Real good quality rock, though.

Great traverse with a not so great landing, but still manageable.

High holds make for a reachy start. Once you establish on the nasty crimp, the enjoyable dyno leads to juggy goodness.

Big highball with good holds throughout. More of a head-game than anything else.

This problem really lives up to its name. No send for me today, but I was super stoked to support Adrian Corvino while he picked up his second V5 during his short visit. 😃
