攀登 in Main Wall (Lower)

So close to flashing! Fell when I missed the last crimp at the anchor. Rock quality is decent on this one at least.

A lot of rock breakages in the first half of the climb (highly recommend belayers wear helmets!), but the quality improves once you pass the first crux. Some fine climbing to be had otherwise.

Lots of breakage, there was signs of a huge patch of native orchids removed at top. Scary climb.

Very fragile rock, lots of breakage and sandy holds. Otherwise great.

Thought I’d try the 18, towards the top realised I was on the wrong climb. Amazing how confidence vanishes as soon as you think something’s beyond you. Will second/TR it in future to see how far off it is. Fun.

Preserved the on-sight until above the flake in spite of breaking five holds, but everything got a bit sandy above that. Would be fun after a clean, will get to it another time.

Had to remember the beta but really easy once you know what you are doing it's a truly lovely experience with an incredible view. Loved it!

I really like this climb. Some great crimps and reachy, committing, but not particularly hard moves. Really great day out.

Had to hang dog to figure out some moves and remove some bad holds. Still a really nice climb. Keen for the redpoint next time.

Awesome!... If the holds stay in place. Needs more traffic to test the rock quality. But a really fun climb with some interesting holds.

Cruisy, classic Gorge wandery face climbing, to an absurd finish campusing a frictionless sloper rail below a roof, and a gymastic finale into a major cave system.

Still needs some more cleaning, and some anchors. I had to do some very scary backjumping/downclimbing to clean it.
