攀登 of Cave Climb as Lead

I led the first pitch (offically pitch 1&2) up to the cave. Dave led the last pitch. Great fun!

Great climb, graded a little low for modern ascents. In comparison to others I'd mark the trickier bits at a 17

Great climb though the 3rd pitch outside the cave is by far the most glorious. P1 is a sandbag and P2 is hairy unless you're racking big pro. Take a couple of big pieces (#4), unless you're a sadist, then don't.

P2 via cave, P1 direct. Access track leaves from road at approx 33°43'57.2"S 150°17'02.7"E

Still quality the second time round!

The tree for the first belay has been dead for decades & looks pretty brittle. I would recomend doing the direct start & going straight to the second belay. You can run the original start to the second belay, but there's a un-protected mid level traverse for the seconder.

So good. Second the first and second pitch combined lead the third. First multipitch. Loved it.

Second time climbed, with Blair and behind Bulti and Kylie. First pitch seemed much harder and scarier this time! Still a unique classic.
