攀登 in Calmer Waters

Many attempts. Got the landing rebuilt. Nice to be back in the gorge. First boulder sesh here for me since the floods. Got this twice from one move in (LH bump only), and many overlapping halves from start. Can't get closer without sending

Briefly tried to repeat tonight and it felt bloody desperate, I've never tried it in winter but I think V9 might be more appropriate.

Refined, esp. top 3rd. Popping up now. 3 sections. Nearly had an overlapping 2. Huuumiid.

Gettin' warm

Awesome to link from start to crux move twice today and do all moves multiple times.

Either a very low start with a hard big move, or an awkward starting sitting on the boulder.

Fair grade, awkward start amongst the veg. Hard to not dab.

Got all the moves. Time for send burns. Quick start makes the foot go for 1st move, and a high backflag makes gaining the crimp near static. Siiick. Love the high foot to launch pre topout.

Fun to finally get around to doing this one. Had a few burns figuring it out pre send. Was also with Joy, Noah, Evert, Mick and crew.

Rad to stick the span move. Got beta for top. Just the start 2 moves left. First nearly went. Let's gooo!

Added 1 more move to start crossed off sloper and incut feature. Much cleaning.

A good number of burns. In the end got a highpoint on the hold to do the high gaston move off of (from sit start). Stoked on progress. 2-3 moves to go. Great sesh with Nick P.

Loved this one! Tensiony roof goodness. My style and the crux might be a bit morpho, so personal grade felt more in line with V8. Either way, happy to knock it off in the one session. Especially having tried many years ago and felt impossible then

Bit to easy to mantle early aha.
