攀登 in Cave Rock & Surrounds

Personally felt like an onsight but I waited on the rope at the first bolt before it gets hard for an SD card to be changed in a camera. Very happy with how i climbed and read this. Will do it again

Punted the onsight turning the lip, hard to read and a bit dirty up top. Cleaned it up, lowered and sent packing.

Clean to crux below third, could not figure out a way to do it, then clean to anchor. Would love someone to shed some light on this?! I got close with a crazy high left heel on the little nubbin near the chalky block jug and Hucking but it felt insane.

One move wonder. Somehow hold on to it over the lip.

Bouldery moves after moves. More interesting than Sacred Stone.

first part is quite technical, could quite do the move exiting the roof, being on top rope didn't help.

fell on the last hard move. Hard to pull the lip even after resting on the rope !

Great route on a great crag. 3rd try.

Feels harder than SS. The initial wall is technical without many positive holds. The moves through the roof are nails! Two shots. Fell at roof on second go. Remember l hand pinches white lichen in corner to get feet above roof.

Surprisingly tricky.

Tough getting established on the arete.
