攀登 of Pot Black

Still seems easy. Finally found an okay sequence for the start.

My first clean 22!! : )

I have projected this before, months ago. I pieced together a sequence, but it just seemed too hard to yard those crimps. Today it actually felt really easy (like grade 19-20 easy). Except the horrible mounting of the block on the approach, that still sucked.

Similar to Tilt. Forced movement to the right of the bolt. I probably went slightly to the left near the crux .

STILL can’t get this, even on TR. Worked out possible beta for the roof though. RH undercling on RH side of block. Reach up with L hand to pretty much a left cross to a diagonal. Need high feet to make undercling work. Then R hand to an almost finger lock in wider crack.

Another attempt after yesterday. Now I know what hold I'm firing for at the crux, high LH pocket....

Tried it on TR. Couldn't work out the crux at the roof.

Still working on the crux. Had a few cracks

Nice climb, Layback is key to the crux. trust the feet and gain the small vertical crack, layback hard and work the feet up below you until you can gain a jug for the right hand

Gave it a go again, couldn't get it.

Gave this a whirly gig. Matt worked out some cool heel hooking beta for under the little roof which made that part WAY easier. I reckon I might be able to tick this (on top rope) next time I try it

i think i've got the sequence down. Not to start training hard to lync it all together.

Don't know why I left it for so long. Quite a nice route. Onsight solo.

Got it first shot but a lot of luck involved grabbing the right stuff. Felt a lot harder on the 2nd shot.

Need to work on this a little more.
