First time out climbing in months good to shake off some cobwebs

Had never been on this before. Nice features and and interesting crux. Didn’t have cams today so just did it on the bolts. possible ledge fall as you move to the top bolt.

Great climbing. Pretty pumpy as the crag warm up. I definitely made use of the tight jams for a rest near the top. Stoked I got it first shot but no way I would have read the top sequence if I hadn’t seen Sam on it first.

Cruised it once I had reacquainted myself with crux holds

Stoked I sorted out the low crux sequence first shot. Quite engaging climbing all the way. Will definitely come back for some laps in future

Repeat. Always a great experience. Dunno why but I placed so many wires today.

Really fun second pitch. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get on the upper pitches. Airy moves at the top of p2!

P1 only. Feels tricky for 17. Two laps, one to lead and one to clean. Balancy techy fun

Lovely corner crack with good rests to place gear. Traverse felt a little spicy. I don’t think Shaun appreciated my novelty tricam placement

Fired it second shot. Felt pretty good once I worked out the move at the lip

Started up a nice day for a disco, got a little lost trying the crux without the missing hold. Traversed a little left for a move at the prow. Felt more like 22 that way

First shot today. Played on this 4 sessions to figure out the beta that works for my tweaky shoulder. Stoked to tick off this classic.

COVID lockdown project close to home. Ticked this off today without using the eponymous surfboard. Fun playing around on good holds through a disorienting roof. Keen to get back on the long traverse finish soon.

Pretty filthy at this end but cleaned up ok. Not terrible warm up routes.

First climb of the day. A bit harder and longer than my usual warm up. Lovely climbing

Misread the opening Boulder problem and slipped off. Glad I had the first bolt clipped. Tried again and cruised it, definitely some tricky balancy moves between first and second bolt.

Awesome sustained climbing. Stoked to get this first shot. Got pretty pumped at about 2 thirds height. Glad I pushed through it.

Fun, felt kind of stout for the grade but maybe I missed the sequence. Not the best warm up but it did the job.
