Bouldering Area that seems to have more room to grow, come and get your FFA's here

描述

Quiet bouldering area just off a not so well known bike/walking track. A great new addition to Northern Beaches bouldering. Nashville is another crag found by Dave Kellerman and developed with Mike Forward and Mike Kellerman. The crag mostly consists of vertical walls with a few slightly overhung faces and ridiculous highballs thrown in for good measure. The rock varies from bulletproof, to a bit sandy, to a bit breaky, so b take care topping out. (Sydney Bouldering Guide Book 2023)

The Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation is apparently private land. I parked in the Academy grounds, did not get fined or hassled by anyone when i was in there.

前往

Enter the Sydney academy of sport and Recreation. Turn left, go to the end and then turn right. follow along and you will probably want to park on the left side of the road next to the football oval on your left. Take a hike continuing along the road in the same direction veer right at the "Y" Intersection then turn Left Trending up Hill. Veer right and head up the hill. You will get to a Right hand Hair pin and then come to a gate. go through the gate and head up the steep bike trail on your left 10-20meters past the gate. head up hill for 250-300 meters untill you have a short drop on the left hand side of the track. Walk to the end of the wall and descend down little alley. OR EASIER Park opposite the fire trail at the top of the hill of Cromer Road in cromer. Walk down the fire trail and take the first left. The fire trail goes up a small hill and then flattens out and goes straight for a few hundred metres. Keep walking almost to the end of this stright section of fire trail where you will find a power pole on the left of the track with a yellow '76' marker on it. Opposite this power pole on the right hand side of the track is a trail heading into the bush. Follow this track down the hill, sticking right at any forks in the track that you come to, and after a few hundred metres youll find yourself at the top of the first area.
