A conveniently located and beginner-friendly little wall with dozen easy climbs. Similar climbing to Tinbeerwah with edges and pockets. There is a history of climbing here but after the drought and fires of late 2019 removed much of the vegetation it's easier to access. Most climbs are sport but a few are still sketchy Trad and could use a retro bolt.
From the waterfall creek camp ground at Mount May, follow the creek towards the waterfall area for about 50m and it's on the left. Opposite the bouldering cave. There's a lot of fallen branches from the fire to pick over, but this will settle with time. Most trees above burned down but there are enough anchor points to set up top ropes if you have about 20m of static line. Scramble up the gully to the left of the wall to access the top pad.

A few years ago there was basically Frog Buttress and Coolum. Since then there has been more development than Barangaroo and South East Queensland should be on any climbers radar no matter what your style. Except ice climbing, definitely no ice climbing. But over 1250 routes with hard sport, multipitches and quality trad to make a great trip.
