Wattamolla
Upriver Boulders

Couple of shallow water boulders strewn well past the (no) diving area. known as "unknown" from "Waterfall DWS", there are a lack of the total range of climbs here, and i am pretty poor at grading, so all feedback most welcome. thanks Please feel free to add more routes to the topo's, pretty sure there are more from birth canal area.

Wattamolla Upriver Boulders
V1 Super Shallow

Immediately left from Waterfall DWS once past long slab area. Bot Left boulder from crag outline, Orange Slab RHS, 3-4 moves to top out

V1 Flying Penguin

Slopers at base to crimps and jugs at top. Watch out for submerged rock when trending left at top.

V1 Lippy Roof

Right hand bend as entering from Waterfall DWS, first open boulder. sweet upwards traverse with a reach to the roof at the end.

V0 Pride Rock

3m right of LR. Right pocket to slab, walk up and hold right, end on pointy rock

V2 A Rocky Grave

Around the back PR and LR, Long traverse high ball and high stakes, starts deep and ends rocky, long move to lean down to finishing foothold, walk off and join water at LR

V0 Abort!

Start on the same ledge as C-section, but instead of traversing right, head straight up the wall.

V2/3 C-section

On the face about 4m left of Birth Canal's finish, there is a small ledge submerged just underwater. Stand here to start. traverse right across the face, under the roof, and finish through the hole as for Birth Canal

V3 Birth Canal

About 100m from other boulders, sweet holey roof, start at hole or work your way from the wall. (this climb/boulder i believe is document in the block, please correct me!)

V1 Ziggy Zopia

Up the prow just to the left of the big block's Lippy Roof. Up the roof and out. Shallow-ish underneath but not too bad.

V0 Yah Boobay

Mantle up onto the thin ledge above the water line just to the left of the white vertical streak. Then top out, and jump off!

Wattamolla
Curracurang

A large house sized boulder has fallen from the sea cliff and somehow landed on the smallest side to produce very high quality, bouldering on bullet hard sandstone. Conditions are rarely suited for the crag, a very low tide -1 foot swell & a sunny day are ideal.

Wattamolla Curracurang
V0 Back Snap

Left most route . before CR . order wrong . Walk onto slab from block and top out. Don't fall

V7 Cheese Roll

Just right of back snap. Crouch start and up on very nice crimps directly above rock pool, to gain slab left and top out. Good moves .

V9 Goiter

Sit start and straight up the 45 degree wall and top out. high !!! Very good . Best sea cliff problem in Sydney.

V8 Tweaked

Crouch start on ledge at lip and finish on ledge up and left. Another classic. Big cut over rock pool makes this problem very exciting.

关闭的 Rockford

Steep, dry, bolts, banned.

关闭的 Rockford
22 Heal the World

Far right route in the cave. Very steep jugging with a lot of heel hooking and an airy finish. Extend runners or face horrible rope-drag.

22 Battery World - Linkup

Link up of Heal the World into Salt and Battery. Start up HtW and finish through the SaB anchors. A nice and obvious linkup. Keep an eye on rope drag

22 Salt and Battery

A bit stop start but very steep! Roof flake to start, out another roof then finish through roof to anchors in orange scoop. Overhangs 6m.

24 Make or Break

Seriously steep roofing that could be the longest route at Rockford. Start at undercut corner (as for "Long Arm") . Up corner then right along ledge to awkward stance under roof. Fire out roof on pockets to slopers. Traverse right along more epic slopers to juggier roof flake. Finish out ceiling along Grampians like roof feature to anchors on headwall. Back-jump to clean. This route was extended by MN in 2014 by several metres to a more obvious finish.

19 Long Arm of the Law

Corner as for Make or Break for 1 bolt then head left under roof to finish for anchors of ICBINL.

23 Long Arm of the Law (Extn)

?

25 Long Arm of the Crafty Single - Linkup

The link of Long Arm in Craftys Singles. A bit committing from the anchors of I Can Believe into the rest stance on Crafty Single (Undercling to right hand crimp).

20 I Can Believe it's Not Legal

Packs some punch for a 7m climb. Well chalked mini route left of the corner.

23 I Can Believe it's Not Legal Extension

Good powerful extension. From anchors of original traverse right and out through roof to DRB anchor in scoop (knee bar to clip anchors safely!). Originally graded 22!

25 Krafty Single

Classic of the crag. Starts 3m left of I Can Believe. Bounce up easy wall past 3 ringbolts to roof. Gather your thoughts and push along the horizontal roof to boulder problems finale and and anchor. Back-jump to clean. Extn is a closed project 2019. Pls respect

25 Strain your Brain

Tricky start to a great roof.

25 Helesburgh Playboy

Crux off the ground .

26 The Curly Landing

Kinda over doing it, but the holds are there and climbs well. link "HP" into "AATJ"

26 ...And All The Jazz

Another crux to start then Finish on high up Double RBs at lip. Oh so good!

27 Black Balloon

Climb Crime is Bolting then traverse right, through roof and finish in the Top Cave. Classic.

27 5 O'Clock Shadow

Another extension to Crime is Bolting through roof and mantle. Bouldery fun.

19 to 22 Crime is Bolting

The punchy little access route to the top caves, and a good warm-up in itself. This was the first route climbed at Rockford. Up and slightly left through bulgy slopers to crux move getting to ledge. Double ringbolt belay on ledge.

20 Standard Deviation

Start as for "CIB", but move L at 1 bolt. Clipping two more on the way.

23 Nasogastric Tube

Start as for the DB for a couple of bolts, then move directly up to FH (that is no longer there opps??). Big move from here to RB and continue to top out

21 Drug Baron

The furthest left route climbing the short nose with close spaced rings. It's short but it packs some very good punchy climbing. Mantle and backjump to clean.

TOP CAVE - The next routes are in the two orange caves directly above the previous couple of routes.

TOP CAVE - The next routes are in the two orange caves directly above the previous couple of routes. You need to climb one of these routes to get to a spacious belay ledge and bolt belay.
