攀登 in The Steamers having 攀爬攻略

Adventurous trad climbing on a crumbling tower of choss. Good views from the top.

Awesome adventure climb. Choss everywhere. Adequate protection where needed. Linked P3 & P4. Takes small to medium Cams.

⭐️⭐️ for the adventure. Not so much the climbing.

Easy up chimney to half height where it narrows, quite tricky directly up, easier but more exposed bridging outside. Big runout to TB.

Excellent moves up overhanging fingercrack until death blocks are reached. Ran out of time, needs a clean next time before its safe to climb.

Death climb! Mank bash to overhanging corner. Up with tricky moves, suspect gear and poor rock, only to be greeted with loose rock and dirt on a dangerous ledge. More large loose blocks to TB, only the suicidal would attempt a repeat.

Nice hand crack, lots of loose rock, ran out of time, needs a clean before FA.

Classic bridging with great pockets, no gear on final section to TB but easy ground.

Fun bridging and pockets with reasonable but fiddly gear. An unprotectable traverse to TB. Big fall potential.

Avoiding the traverse, directly up to poor trad belay with almost no gear and crumbly rock...scary and not recommended!
