攀登 in Highlander

Sweet! steep crack, with a burly crux. 1 TR lap up and then a lead go. Made it to the top crux on TR before falling. Took me a while to work out beta that worked: stand up realllly high on a fist jam, and throw for a shit hand jam at max reach. Very cool! On my lead go, fell down low, and then at the top crux! Stoked to come back!

Fell just before the rest in the middle of the traverse. Probably 5.12 something

I really enjoyed this route although I don't think I have any margin to do it on gear. The first part I layback so I can't place gear from this position. The crux - a traverse coming out from the roof is hard. The last part - corner, is easier but still demanding and I see only a few placements possible.

Supprisingly the moves on Bloodline felt just has hard as Arc Strike right beside it.

one fall on last move, messed up the beta (no gloves made my beta hard on that move). everything else felt pretty chill

The guide is right. A little burly at the start, but generally fairly easy after that. Unlike most other climbs, the finish wasn't very wet of dirty!

Need to try it when it's dry. Moving from the finger crack traverse into the final crack was definitely harder than 10c without that hold.

Some slightly crappy gear near the start, and a super wet, slippery and dirty topout made this the most exciting climb for the day.

Super fun steep finish. Will repeat each time I come here.

Sent. Key beta was to skip placing the #1 cam at the crux. Felt locker that way with less pump. 12a/25 for sure.

Good candidate for the best route in the area. Such great climbing.
