First trad in ages

Got everything, face, slab, step out, crack, and overhung jug hauling.

Nice moves up flow stone with fun holds

Really fun moves, easy slab at the top

Tricky between 2nd and 3rd bolt

Fun flake onto sequence of good moves on crimps

Tough for a 16 , great fun after the start

Relentless for the grade. Good though.

Hard

Off route at pitch 4... out of time to continue up... had to bail off the wall before dark

I used a knee over the roof..shame on me Well protected roof climb well worth a try.

Single Pitch

Easy start, tougher sloping finish with awkward pinches. I think second hanger was loose, didn't have tool with me unfortunately..

Fun climb, few mildly challenging pieces for grade 15 but overall nice route!

+1 Tough start for grade. Interesting climb.

Hard

Super stoked about this send! Very, very satisfying roof sequence. Dat overhead heel hook around the lip!

1st pitch - 25m - 18 - Flowing climbing & then take on the roof. 2nd Pitch - 15m - 12 - Choss field. Pull gingerly to the belay. 3rd Pitch - 25m - 19 - This is what we came for! Enjoy.

The 1st is a beauty, the roof seems intimidating from the ground, but the holds are great! Hanging belay isn't great. I lead this one.

The 2nd pitch is a choss field & the 2nd bolt could not be found. Jackson McCutchen hitched a small thread & sallied through to the bomber belay. Beware, there is a hanger missing at this belay, so if you are climbing on a 60, take 2-3m of cordalette & a bail biner.

The 3rd pitch is a beauty. Airy climbing on thin'ish face holds, pull onto the arete & soak up the views. What a spectacle! Absolutely frothing. Jackson McCutchen led the 2nd & 3rd as it was smoother for rope management.

Made hard work of this, climbing with the flu sucks! Amazing line though!

Cool moves , pretty straight forward

Don't bother looking for holds. It's a slab. Just stand up.

Water trickling down the traverse adds to the adventure feel and made the vertical part pumpy for me.

A little scary with spikey bushes beneath you and slippery red lychen on the rock. Runout.

A beautiful arete in a beautiful location. Fun climbing all the way with a wonderfully exposed finish.

An eary fall when i was scared of the committing start, another climb here i shoulda have onsighted Awesome committing start, followed by some nice moves around the bulge and up an enjoyable slab to finish. Just that one fall at the start!

Belayed first so i missed the onsight, one of the funnest routes i've ever climbed, beautiful jugs up to the roof, some fun compression moves to reach the lip, cut loose and heel hook left or right, then reign in that adrenaline and cruise up the face on easy holds.

Worth all 15 points of all 3 stars. Brilliance!

Got Quinn on the lead! Cruiser.

Airy climbing. Side pulls & pinches on a balancy face to a slight bulge. Interesting indeed.

Climbed it in the rain. The anchors were wet. Was scary!

Pumpy. The arms were warm afterwards.

Brilliant climbing. Put my hands in a rats nest one move into the crack. Was funny.

short easy route, not very spectacular except for the massive loose block right underneath the anchor station

seems like it hasn’t been climbed much, not a bad root but not one I am fussed about doing again.

Holds and feet where you need them, nice stretched out feet, strong holds at all clips

Very windy which made me question holds. Walk in was extremely long and steep

First real climb at JFWW. Amazing for Port Hills, sustained and technical. Good introduction to the crag, just need to get stronger and build up a lot more endurance.

Jackson led it on gear. A nice warm up & worth a top rope!
