Nice crag in Svartskogen. Looks a bit crumbly from the path, but has some very interesting climbing on good protected routes. Although you can hear the E18, it's a place in quite lovely nature close to the parking. At the parking there's also a nice picnic-area at the river. The wall is in the sun until round about 2 pm.

Follow the way over the bridge and then to the right for about 50 m. You can then follow the "Oldtidsveien" up to the left for 20 m and turn right into the forest to get to the wall.

Primarily vertical/slab climbing. Lots of recent route development.

Newly developed (and re-developed) crag in 2019-2020, with mostly vertical/slab routes on small holds and crystals. Short, easy approach (<10 minutes) and a good variety of grades.

Accessible by car or public transport, make your way to the Skullerud ski area where the crag is just visible over the trees. Follow the pedestrian path under the massive ski bridge, across the main ski area, and take the left fork a couple of minutes later. Follow the dirt/asphalt road up for a few minutes and keep left when it splits. You will soon see a wide, flat path leading to the wall. See also this photo which shows the way.

The most city near crag you'll ever visit! The Cliff is facing West. Mostly steep face climbing on positive holds.

Street parking in a residential area 200m north of the crag. Walk down a gravel pathway through a small park area and you'll see the crag through a lot of trees on your left. If you arrive by subway (T-bane) it's approximately 15 minute walk to the crag

The crag is in middle of a residential area. Keep the noise a bit down to respect the residents and as always avoid littering.

(60.224051, 10.643051) Follow the blue marked trail to " Store Klattertjern". When the trail splits, take right. Trail still marked blue. Follow the trail around the small lake called "Lille Klattertjern" After the lake take left on a trail marked with red and white plastic ribbons that will lead you to the crag. Total length of the approach trail from Svartbekken is 4.1 km.

Park at large parking lot towards the end of Årvollveien (west of Isdammen). From there it is only a few minutes walk to the crag, just east of Isdammen.

历史

First developed in the early 90's by Klaus Sandvik and Vidar Velde, but later rarely used. The crag was rebolted, cleaned and expanded in the spring of 2020 by Sverre Tingstein and Olav Vestlie.

"Ammerudtunnelen er en aktivitetstunnel finansiert av Groruddalssatsingen (Områdeløft Ammerud). Ideen og designet er laget av industridesignerne Taral Jansen, Mikkel Brandt Bugge og Asveig Marie J. Levang. Utfordingen til Områdeløft Ammerud var å gjøre noe for nærmiljøet som ville fremme aktivitet, trygghet og stolthet. Tunnelen sto ferdig sommeren 2015."
