starting choss isn't as bad as it looks! and not really too chossy! second pitch was brilliant to watch the sun set to (?armageddon?!), and a fun top out

some solid wide stance/hand throws to good holds

Weird beta by maxie, push up on mantle to reach crack above, stabilised with knee placed atop mantle. tehe, a little run out in between bolt plates (my own doing, there were gear placements!)

linked pitch 1 and 2 together, good thing Andrew had just enough gear! lovely flake with good rooflet

weird excellent climbing, little bit of confuddling play about the arete, mostly loved it!

oh wow! gotta improve my hand jams, little bit wider at the top, to turn my hand, oochy koochy! ended up laybacking over the top, silly me

interesting couple of "boulder" starts, one much tougher than the other. Second's struggled taking a big step left onto the face, fine by me...

Great spacewalk, damn! cool and brill in the hot afternoon, just the sweet kind of Spartan we wanted. haha, and a great size 6 cam placed on third pitch. climbed in second position of 3.
