I worked it bunch last year and found the bottom crux totally nails. Was so stoked to be able to send it today!!

After taking quite a scary fall on this climb a month ago, falling with a handful of slack out trying to clip and nearly hitting the rock behind me, it felt great to climb it today with confidence! 💪🏽

One of the coolest sequences of hard crimpy climbing into this epic throw (aka 'the drive-by'). I really love this route and it has been such a mega-project for me over the past year.

Thanks to the draw fairy for equipping this route for me. What a powerful and pumpy climb! So psyched to have sent it! Was hard to clip the last two draws on a red-point go, but the falls seemed safe enough.

Fun short little boulder-route! I'd recommend just having the second bolt clipped, in order to reduce drag. Got it on the 3rd shot ^_^

Got it on the second shot! Was surprised to send it on the first red-point attempt as it felt really pumpy going draw-to-draw. What an amazing climb! Great position and flowy moves up to a fun finish. 10/10 Would recommend.

Wow what a day and what an amazing route! Thanks Lee Cujes for the info you posted on thecrag after having done the route. It was really helpful for us.

The best pitch (and best quality rock) was definitely the 4th Crux pitch. The other pitches were generally a tad sharp and the rock quality was a little poor.

Pitches 5 and 6 had probably the worst quality rock, I had two hand-sized holds break on me on these pitches, which luckily just missed my belayer. With the added exposure pitch 6 felt extra spicy!

Being short would make pitch 4 quite tough, but the other pitches had several options for shorter folk. All in all an amazing position with some real quality climbing!

Thanks also for the recent rebolt! It would have been a huge effort and it has made this route so much more accessible - Cheers!! ^_^

really cool holds, one of my fav climbs in Wanaka

The possibility of decking between 2nd and 3rd clip made this climb feel a tad spicier than it had to be. Felt more like a grade 24 imo
