Descenso en rapel por la reunión de la vía "Sendero Luminoso"

Start of the route is about 10m to the right of a cave at the base of the mountain. There is a metal plate (the size of a postcard) bolted to the wall about 3m up that commemorates the Alpine Club of Sevilla.

Approach: From the Camping Tajo Rodillo parking lot head into the park along the clearly defined trail with the Peñon Grande on your right hand side. Continue up until you can cross over to the large gully on the east side of the main peak. Scramble up scree until you see a small cave on the right side of the gully. Directly across the gully from the cave you will see a narrow dirt path that zig zags into the rocks. This is the beginning of the route.

Route: Start heading up the path of least resistance. Keep an eye out for signs of foot traffic and you'll be on the right path. Most of this route can be scrambled. There were only 2 or 3 short sections which required the rope. Keep heading up to the flag.

Descent: Once at the flag, continue along the summit ridge to the west for about 200-300 meters. The ridge will eventually peter out to a grassy saddle where you start heading straight down hill. Head to the short down climb at approximately: (36.7520, -5.3809). You may see the down climb path blocked by a wire gate, but just step over. Not sure why it's there as looking for another place to get down the cliff will turn into its own adventure. From there you will link back up with the main hiking trail to the parking lot.

Gear beta: light rack of small to medium cams and stoppers.

Shortest approach is from the south side near Restaurant El Tesoro. There's no main path to the crag, just faint trails all over the place.

The route starts in a chimney with a committing move to the face to exit the chimney. Easy climbing the rest of the way. Big grass ledges to belay from. I did not see bolted belay stations. There are trees and cracks for natural/gear anchors.

The route tops out to an awkward peak where you will see a bolted rap station. The intermediate rap stations are clearly evident as you come down the fall line. We had double 60m ropes and made it in two rappels. If you have a single rope you'd probably need a 70m to make the second rap station.

Leave the climb by walking down the backside.

E6 6b; 7 pitons + double set of small nuts

12m to the 3rd bolt. Can lower off the mallion (quicklink) on the third bolt. Bolts are carrots. Probably only worth doing this route if you've done everything else here. A strong opening move then up on slab passing 3 carrots to a build a natural anchor at top out.
